The App loads educational institute websites within an embedded browser (WebView). When you interact with those websites, the respective institute may collect personal information including but not limited to:

Student or staff identification details
Login credentials (managed by the institute's website)
Academic records and attendance data
Payment and transaction information

Collection and processing of this data is governed by the respective institute's own privacy policy, not this one. We encourage you to review their policies when using their services through our App.

1.3 Automatically Collected Technical Data

When the App communicates with our servers, the following technical data may be logged automatically:

IP address
Device type and operating system version
App version
Network connectivity status (Wi-Fi or mobile data)
Date and time of requests

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

App functionality: To load your selected institute's website and maintain your preference across sessions.
Connectivity management: To detect network availability and provide appropriate feedback when offline.

3. App Permissions

The App requests the following Android permissions:

The App does not request access to your camera, contacts, location, storage, microphone, SMS, or phone.

Institute partners: Data you submit through an institute's website is shared with that institute directly.
Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, or legal process, we may disclose information to competent authorities.
Service providers: We may use third-party services (such as Google Fonts for typography) that may collect technical data as described in their own privacy policies.

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, including:

Using HTTPS for network communications wherever possible
Implementing network security configuration to restrict cleartext traffic
Enforcing code obfuscation and shrinking in the release build
Not storing sensitive personal data within the App itself

Local device data (your selected institute) is stored until you clear the App's data or uninstall it.
Server-side data managed by individual institutes is subject to their respective retention policies.

The App is an educational tool that may be used by students of all ages, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children through the App itself. Any data collection from students occurs through the institute's website and is managed by the respective educational institution in compliance with applicable laws.

8. Your Rights

Access: You may request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate data.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your data. You can clear locally stored data at any time by clearing the App's data in your device settings.
Withdrawal of consent: You may stop using the App at any time.

This Privacy Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising under this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Thakurgaon, Bangladesh.

The CodeGaon brand, logo, and application are part of the legitimate business operations of this partnership. The mobile application is developed, maintained, and distributed by CodeGaon in accordance with Android and Google Play Store policies. The use of the CodeGaon brand and assets in this application is fully authorized and represents the official CodeGaon mobile presence for educational institutions using our platform.
